Before Your Adventure
Every BlueDrift expedition is thoughtfully planned to create the best possible experience, while leaving space for the unexpected moments that make every journey unique. Here are a few things to know before you join us.
Booking & Payment
Your place is secured once your booking has been confirmed and the required deposit has been received.
Each expedition includes its own detailed booking information, including payment schedules, cancellation policies, and important travel details. These are provided in the expedition guide and with your booking confirmation.
International flights are not included unless stated otherwise.
Once your booking is confirmed, we'll be happy to advise you on recommended flights, arrival times, and everything you need to know before your journey begins.
Flights & Travel
Travel Insurance
To ensure you can travel with peace of mind, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Bluedrift expeditions.
Please choose a policy that suits your individual needs. Bluedrift is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings, travel interruptions, medical expenses, or other unforeseen costs during the expedition.
Every expedition has its own diving requirements.
Please make sure you meet the minimum certification, experience, and fitness requirements outlined in the expedition guide. We are always happy to help if you're unsure whether a trip is suitable for you.

Flexible Itineraries
Nature doesn't follow schedules and that's exactly why we love it.
Weather, ocean conditions, wildlife activity, or local circumstances may require changes to the itinerary. Whenever this happens, safety, respect for nature, and creating the best possible experience for the group will always come first.
We travel to experience wildlife in its natural environment.
Although we carefully choose the best seasons and locations, wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. Every encounter is wild, natural, and unique and we believe that's what makes it so special.
Wildlife Encounters
Respect & Community
Bluedrift is built on kindness, curiosity, and respect.
We welcome people from all backgrounds and ask every guest to treat fellow travellers, local communities, guides, wildlife, and nature with openness and respect. There is no place for discrimination, racism, or sexism on our journeys.
Photos and videos may be taken during the expedition to capture the journey, share memories with the group, and inspire future Bluedrift adventures through our website and social media.
If you would prefer not to appear in any photographs or videos, simply let us know before the trip, we completely understand and will happily respect your wishes.
